If your SASSA R370 grant have been declined or not showing April 2024 payments dates, the South African Social Security Agency has address some of the issues regarding SRD grant. In this article we will guide on how you can fix your Social relief of distress grants.

Problem and Solutions

1.No Payments dates: The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has announced the solution regarding the “no payments dates” issue, on the 4th of April 2024

The agency published a post on “X” addressing recipient on how they can solve the issue. According to the South African Social Security Agency:

1. If you have not provided SASSA with any banking details at all, please do so without delay by updating your bank details on the SASSA SRD website at srd.sassa.gov.za
2. If you requested SASSA to open a Postbank account for you, SASSA is unfortunately not in a position to do this anymore. It is recommended that you either open an account with Postbank yourself and provide SASSA with your Postbank banking details, or open an account with a different bank and provide SASSA with the details to ensure payment.

In the poll we did on Facebook last week some recipient recommend opening a new bank which’s to be used only receive the SRD money.

2.Denclied: The agency many declined your applications if you don’t meet the requirements below we have listed some of the reason why your applications was declined.

• insufficient Information.
• Identity Verification Issues.
• Employment and Income Tax Contributions.
• Alternative Income Source.
• Existing SASSA Grant.
• Other Government Benefits.
• Age Restrictions.
• Fraudulent Activity

If your applications was declined you can submit an appeal to the agency.
