- they agency calls for clients to update banking information.
- SASSA cannot open a postbank account on behalf of clients, however if they requires a bank account just to receive the grant ,they can either to capitec bank, nedbank , fnb or Standard Bank to open a new banking accounts.
- clients with no banking details should provide bank details to start receiving payments .

Minister of Finance of South Africa Godongwana, who was appointed as Minister since August 2021 has announces the increase of R350 grant to R370 which will be paid each months to approved recipient “I am pleased to say that we have found consensus that in between, subject to the finalisation of the comprehensive social security [programme], we’ll increase the R350 to R370 by the 1st of April this year That is part of the progressive realisation of the basic rights of our people”
