Job Description

As a General Worker at Sasol, you will perform labor activities to support logistical requirements. This includes preparing equipment for loading and unloading, maintaining general housekeeping, and adhering to all safety standards. Key responsibilities include:

• Safety: Correct identification and use of PPE, participating in emergency preparedness exercises, conducting routine inspections on safety equipment, and adhering to all safety and work standards.
• Housekeeping: Cleaning plant areas, handling and storing chemicals safely, packing materials, loading and offloading vehicles, and maintaining general neatness.
• General Duties: Assisting with discipline-specific tasks, delivering messages and parcels, working overtime as required, and using hand tools and equipment safely.

Requirements

• Education: Grade 12 or N3 with Maths and Science
• Licenses: Code EC1 driver’s license (Forklift driver’s license is an added advantage)
• Experience: 0+ years of relevant experience
