1. Apprentice Mechatronics Technician (Millwright Trade)
This three-year mechatronics apprenticeship is based in Rosslyn, Pretoria. It combines both theoretical and practical training at Plant Rosslyn, preparing apprentices for a successful career in the Millwright trade.
Qualifications Required:
- Matric with at least 50% in Mathematics (not Maths Literacy) and Physical Science, or NQF 4/N3 in Engineering Studies with similar grades.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Nated Engineering studies with trade theory are advantageous.
2. Apprentice Transportation Electrician (Automotive Electrician)
This is also a three-year apprenticeship based at the Rosslyn plant, where apprentices will receive comprehensive theoretical and on-the-job training in automotive electrical systems.
Qualifications Required:
- Matric with Mathematics and Physical Science above 50%, or NQF 4/N3 in Engineering with similar marks.
- Valid driver’s license.
- N2 in Engineering studies with trade theory is advantageous.
