The South African Social Security Agency has announced the April payments dates for old age, Child support grant ,Care dependency grant ,Grant in aid ,War veteran’s grant, Foster child grant and Disability grant on behave of the Social Development, which is the operator of SASSA.

Overview

The Social grant, is a South African grant which’s paid every months to SASSA qualifying clients who meet the requirements, to be benefiting from the “South African Social Security Agency” which distributing social grants, on behalf of the Department of Social Development.

According to an article published on wiki ” The Department of Social Development of South Africa is a government department responsible for providing social development, protection, and welfare services to the public.”

Clients are informed that the payment dates are only for Social grant, however do not includes the dates for social relief grant SRD R350 and if they are interested in check their SRD Status they can visit the official srd.sassa.gov.za to check status.

How much is the payments for April grant

• Older age grant:
  • clients below 75 years old , will be paid 2190 per months
  • clients over 75 years old will be paid R2210 per months
• Child grant is R530 per months
• War veteran grant: R2210 per months
• Disability grant : R2190 per months
• Foster child grant : R1180 per months
